Who may be eligible?
To access Veterans’ Home Care services, you must be assessed and approved. Generally, you may be eligible if you:

- check_circle Are living in your own home or an independent living unit.

Q Do I need a referral?
Yes, you require an assessment through the Veterans' Home Care Assessment Service (VHCAS) before accessing services. We can help guide you through initiating this process.
Q Is there a cost for VHC?
DVA subsidies cover the bulk of the cost, but there is usually a small, affordable co-payment or co-contribution required per service hour, subject to regional parameters.
Q Can I switch providers to Wongaburra?
Yes, you can request a transition of your care management over to Wongaburra. Our team coordinate directly with you to transition existing approvals smoothly without scheduling interruptions.
